The accelerator pivot rod assembly is a part of a golf cart’s accelerator system. The accelerator pivot arm twists the MCOR drive bar, which activates the MCOR. The MCOR translates power to the motor when the accelerator is pressed.
The accelerator system works as follows: The pedal is connected to the potentiometer. When the pedal is pressed, a rod pushes through the potentiometer. The potentiometer tells the speed controller how much voltage to consume.
It is important that the customer knows the year, make and model of their golf cart before purchasing this pivot rod assembly.
