. The Club Car Accelerator Bearing Bracket is part of the pedal sub-assembly
. Look under the floorboard to find it. When you hit your gas pedal, there is a rod that passes through this unit, and depending on whether it is gas or electric, it may do a couple of different things. The battery-powered carts have a throttle sensor that uses this movement to communicate the throttle position to the controller. The gas-powered units use their sweep to help tension the accelerator cables
. If your Club Car bearing bracket starts to go faulty, there will be some key factors that you will notice as a dead giveaway. First, it might feel like there is play in the pedal when you depress it.
