This assembly Converts Motion: It’s the main shaft that transforms the linear (up-and-down) force from the pistons into the rotational energy that turns the wheels.
Connects to Pistons: Connecting rods attach to journals (crank pins) on the crankshaft, transferring piston movement.
Supports Engine: It rests in main bearings within the engine block, allowing smooth rotation.
