Universal use for batteries.
Highly recommended during battery replacement and removal to avoid back injury, battery acid contact and battery damage.
Strap will work with batteries that have tabs molded in the top of the battery case.
This strap is recommended by Trojan for use with the 6 volt or 8 volt batteries.
12 volt batteries are a heavier battery and therefore require a stronger lifting strap.

Before purchasing, it is important to know that there is an expiration date stamped on strap. Reasoning: The strap material is PVC and it can degrade when exposed to sunlight. Light degradation is usually brown so may not show up on a brownish black handle. Since there is no way to control exposure at the end user level, there is an expiration date.
To have your strap last longer than expiration date, do not leave in sunlight, or in wet weather. Store in a cool, dry place.
